It was a balmy Thursday night, the perfect kind of weather one would wish for at an event like the Icons of Style Spring/Summer runway show. It was a very last minute decision to attend, as i had been been super busy that week and little did i know that one of my favorite Style blogger’s Olivia Palermo was to attend! Literally, i had 30 mins to shower, blow dry hair, outfit and make-up. I had one of those ‘ahhh’ moments, but then i calmed myself and thought “ok if i am meant to go then i will be dressed and ready and if not then the universe had other plans for me”. Luckily, the universe had decided i was going and i just made it in time for the show. There was a fantastic line up of designers and there were so many fabulous outfits to hit the runway. From wonderful whites to bright and bold prints, Monochrome was big on the radar and Spring just wouldn’t be the same without that pop of color. It was a wonderful night and with a front row seat it was the perfect treat to see the ‘Icons of Style’ Spring Summer runway show.
Olivia Palermo looked so beautiful, just like a shining star in black and white animal print, and i loved her sleeked back hair style and glowingly beautiful make-up.
One of my favorite designers for the evening was YB J’AIME. With model wearing a cream cape, matching pencil skirt and cut out ponti bodice. I love this look, so chic and modern.
I was a huge fan of this color, definitely a show stopper with model wearing YB J’AIME cobalt blue tuxedo suit and tiger silk shirt. You can check out the range here http://www.shop.yeojinbae.com/
It was a such a great event, with so many outstanding collections and styles for the SS 13 season, not to mention seeing such class and elegance from the lovely Olivia Palermo. ! I will be telling my husband, its that time of the season where there will be a slight increase on the credit card!
